Cathy began her career as a staff nurse on a hospital medical-surgical unit and pediatrics unit.  Cathy began doing hospital utilization review several years later before moving to Michigan.  She joined ReviewWorks in 1989 but left 7 years later to work in hospital internal audit.  While still working for a large healthcare organization in internal audit Cathy returned to ReviewWorks to continue professional bill review and utilization review.  She retired from Internal Audit but has continued to enjoy utilization review work at ReviewWorks.  Cathy is certified in Healthcare Quality management (CHCQM) and is a Fellow of the American Board of Quality Assurance Utilization Review Physicians (ABQAURP).  She is also Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) by the Health Care Compliance Association (CHC).
